Congratulations to Staten Island SBDC client, Danielle Raleigh, owner of Egger's Ice Cream Parlor, for capturing the Golden Siphon award at Brooklyn SeltzerFest 2026 in Industry City. The event drew a sold-out crowd of more than 1,000 seltzer enthusiasts, with another 2,000 tuning in via livestream.
The second annual festival delivered a full day of tastings, comedy, music, activities, and, of course, plenty of egg creams. It was a celebration of both tradition and community, centered around one of New York’s most iconic beverages.
Hosted by the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum, this year’s festival expanded into a two-session, seven-hour experience, welcoming fans from across the city and beyond.
The centerpiece of the day, the Third National Egg Cream Invitational, showcased competitors from across the country, each bringing their own flair to the classic drink. Sponsored by Fox’s U-Bet Chocolate Syrup, the competition featured entries from beloved establishments spanning New York, New Jersey, and even Texas. Judged by a lively panel of personalities and experts, the contest came down to precision, presentation, and perfect foam. After several intense rounds, Egger’s Ice Cream Parlor rose to the top, securing both the coveted Golden Siphon and ultimate bragging rights for 2026—cementing its place as a standout in the world of egg creams.
