Starting or Growing a Veteran Owned Business

Sep 19, 2016

Are you a Veteran looking to start or grow your business?

Transferring and adjusting back to civilian life can be difficult; starting a second career may seem like an even bigger challenge. Veterans have the character, discipline, and skills needed to succeed as small business owners and entrepreneurs. With some guidance from the Small Business Development Center in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, you will be well on your way to excelling in your business venture!

Join us in partnership with the SBA’s Boots to Business Reboot program to receive entrepreneurship training at no cost. The Boots to Business Reboot is a training program that provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation, an outline and knowledge on the components of a business plan, a practical exercise in opportunity recognition, and an introduction to available public and private sector resources.

Wednesday, September 28th 2016 9:00am – 1:00pm Ft. Hamilton Community Club 207 Sterling Drive Brooklyn, NY 11252

RSVP Required: http://boots2business.org/Rebootapply/ *Note on registration link: This is only a one day course.
