JENNIFER JACKSON, SBA SUPERVISORY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST – NY DISTRICT
Jennifer Jackson currently serves as the Supervisory Economic Development Specialist for the New York District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). In this capacity, Jennifer is responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with small business stakeholders with federal, state, regional and local government organizations, chambers of commerce, trade and educational institutions as well as civic and community organizations.
Jennifer also leads a team of Economic Development Specialists who develop and deliver hundreds of trainings annually in the New York District area, counsel and advise small businesses, and work proactively with small business stakeholders in civic, industry, education and government. The footprint for her role includes all of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Sullivan, Orange, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and Rockland counties, including 1.6mm small businesses.
Previously, Jennifer served as a Business Opportunity Specialist for the SBA, focusing on compliance and outreach various federal government contracting programs including the 8(a) Business Development Program and HUBZone Program.
